We are early and still small. The homepage Verified strip already shows BC registration, WorkSafeBC clearance, insurance, and GST with pending placeholders where numbers are not public yet. This page is the Trust Center lite: legal links, review honesty, and what we will never invent.

Licensing & insurance

• No USDOT / MC numbers on this site. Those apply to U.S. interstate household-goods carriers. Inlet Move operates local moves inside Metro Vancouver, BC — not U.S. interstate freight. We will not paste placeholder USDOT digits to look like a peer screenshot.
• BC business registration & GST: numbers are marked pending on the homepage until founder verification. Ask for current license details on request via /contact or hello@inletmove.ca.
• WorkSafeBC: clearance is listed as active on the homepage with a link to the public verification tool. Confirm the live clearance letter before booking if you need it on file.
• Insurance: we state $2M cargo and liability coverage on every move (see About). Certificates of insurance are available on request for building managers and condo boards.

Reviews & social proof

• We do not invent Google, BBB, or star-count badges. When third-party review profiles are live and current, they will be linked here with real URLs — not stock widgets.
• Editorial photography on marketing pages is labeled as placeholder where it is not customer photography. Real Vancouver job photos land on the published schedule (see About).
• Pricing claims ($150/hr, $300 minimum, quote≈bill target under 5% overage) are operational promises we intend to keep; they are not star ratings.

What we do publish

• A 60-second quote path with no login and no credit card.
• Operational contact (email live; phone placeholder until launch).
• Privacy and Terms in the footer legal rail.
• Service-area pages for the neighborhoods we actually cover.

What we do not claim

• No fabricated USDOT, MC, DOT, or U.S. interstate authority numbers.
• No fake review counts, guaranteed “5-star” banners, or purchased testimonials.
• No SOC 2 / ISO / “certified best movers” badges we have not earned.
• No moves outside Metro Vancouver. Long-haul / interprovincial jobs are out of scope unless explicitly agreed in writing.
